Who owns iBusiness?
The iBusiness system is owned by Probasoft Plc and is exclusive to us.
What is the financial background of the company?
Probasoft is a Public Limited Company and is debt-free. The development of the iBusiness system was funded by the Directors personally rather than by the company. However, Probasoft Plc owns the Intellectual Property rights to the iBusiness system.
How long has Probasoft been in business?
Our CEO Hamid Sadeghi has been in computer programming and software/hardware development for over 20 years.
Probasoft Plc was founded nearly three years ago. The company spent the first two years developing the unique iBusiness system with the first customers buying the system in 2007.
What happens if Probasoft goes out of business?
Because the company is debt free and operates profitably, there is no reason why it will not continue in business in the future.
All client data is maintained in databases that can be accessed at any time using standard database software. In addition, clients can download thier own data to their PC at any time.

How many customers are currently using iBusiness?
As the first sales occurred in 2007, at present (May 2008) we have around 50 customers with just under 6,000 users
How long have they been using iBusiness?
Our customers have been using the iBusiness system for around eighteen months. However, while iBusiness is a new product many of the component parts have been used successfully for many years.
What type of customers use iBusiness?
We have a wide range of different types of customers from start-ups and Smaller businesses through to large public sector organisations. The beauty of the iBusiness system is that it is highly flexible and so works for all categories of business.

iBusiness offers companies a huge advantage by being a completely integrated system. It is also a highly cost-effective alternative to purchasing individual software programmes. (Please see our Cost Justification model for further details.)
We offer the option of transferring data from Sage, TAS Books and QuickBooks into iBusiness.
Generally speaking, we encourage customers to complete their current financial year using their existing system, so saving the cost of transferring the data.

What support do you offer with iBusiness?

What security do you use to keep data safe?
We use high security servers called HTTPS servers.
How well do you back up my data?
We use a Dynamic Replication system. This means that your data is simultaneously backed up in two separate geographical locations: In London@quote;s we are located in Docklands for high speed acessibility.
Who has access to my data?
Our secure servers can only be accessed by a few people. Access is restricted and only staff required to manage the operation and maintain the servers have access.
In addition, the servers are kept in a high security building. There is no access to information on the premises.
For how long is data kept?
There is no restriction on how long your information is maintained.
Is there any limitation on data storage?
We operate a Fair Usage policy - see our Terms of Service.
The amount of data storage required is based on the size of your business and automatically grows as your requirements grow.

What if my internet connection goes down and I cannot access iBusiness?
We recommend that you have at least two internet connections from different (and totally separate) internet providers.
In addition, we also strongly suggest that you have a high speed mobile internet (wireless data card) for ease of use and as a back-up provider.

How is my monthly charge assessed and when?
Your monthly charge will be agreed in advance and an invoice is automatically generated.
The charge for the current month is payable in advance.
Charges are invoiced on the 1st working day each month and are due for payment within 7 days.
We prefer charges to be made by standing order.

Will I have to pay extra for system upgrades?
Unlike other systems, iBusiness is upgraded constantly yet you are not charged extra for the improvements. This is a major cost-saving for most businesses and one of the key benefits of iBusiness.
Will I have to buy a new iBusiness package as my business grows?
No, that is one of the major benefits of iBusiness. The system is automatically expanded to meet your changing requirements, at no extra cost.

I like Outlook. Do I have to use the iBusiness version?
Unfortunately we cannot integrate your old emails into iBusiness but we can synchronise the system for future incoming messages.

What happens if we want to stop using up iBusiness?
Just give us three months notice of your intentions in writing. It is as simple as that!
How do we access our data when we stop using iBusiness?
All your data can be downloaded at any time into Excel spreadsheets or in CSV format.
